SHMA is Licensed/Accredited by the Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Asaba Delta State, Nigeria.
We are happy to welcome you at any stage throughout the year. If you are seeking admission, the time to apply is now. We accept, review, and offer provisional admission for the school year.
There is no deadline for applications. SHMA has rolling admissions and admits students all year round. Transferring students must provide evidence of continuous enrolment at their previous school before their transfer to SHMA.
Yes, there is a N5,000 non-refundable application fee.
After submitting a completed application and supporting documents, the Admissions team processes and reviews the application file, an email, and a follow-up telephone call with information about the following steps sent to the candidate.
All potential candidates will be assessed during the admissions process, including taking an entrance and/or placement test. Assessment and selection criteria include reviewing report cards, grades, and results from the current and recent academic years.
Class placement depends on the child's current curriculum and grade level, academic ability, overall developmental readiness, and the grade level equivalent of the class they have just completed, considering they meet grade-level requirements.
Your child must be two years old by August 31st of a given school year.
SHMA is a co-educational, college-preparatory day school. We do not offer boarding for now.
No, we do not. Parents provide transportation for their children by taking them to and from school, planning with their driver, or carpooling with other parents.
Yes, parents must purchase uniforms for the learners. Please get in touch with the admissions office for details on where these can be ordered and purchased.
While learners in the creche, reception 1 to 3, come with their lunch to school, learners from basic 1 to SS3 may choose to bring lunch from home or purchase it from our school cafeteria.
